My work involved adapting and migrating a logistics portal, including a Laravel-based Deprixa platform. This is a customisation and migration story, rather than a claim that every component was built from scratch.
What must be understood
Existing records, configuration, tracking behaviour and administrative workflows.
What must be checked
The destination environment, access paths and the important behaviours the business relies on.
Continuity is part of the scope
- Understand what data, configuration and behaviour need to survive a move.
- Treat public tracking and administrative workflows as part of the same operational system.
- Verify the destination environment instead of assuming that a successful file transfer means the project is finished.
The practical takeaway
The responsibility is to preserve the useful parts of the business while improving the platform underneath them.
